About the Role

The social media coordinator’s mission is to drive engagement and growth across Words Without Borders’ social media channels as we work to broaden the audience for international literature. Reporting to the marketing and communications manager and working closely with the editorial, digital, and education teams, the social media coordinator will help develop innovative campaigns and engagement strategies for WWB’s magazine and programs, actively interacting with our Facebook, Bluesky, Instagram, and LinkedIn audiences. You will maintain a distinct voice and presence on each platform, draft and schedule posts that utilize text, images, and/or videos, and interact with our readers, partners, and contributors. This is a great opportunity for an early-career communications professional to make an impact in a growing literary organization.
