About the Role
The role of the Project Manager consists of three main areas of intervention:
Managing the communication activities within the association and the European projects : working with management to create and plan public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance SERN image and visibility, by writing publicity content such as press releases, newsletters, website copy and leaflets. The person will also be responsible for developing materials that increase visibility among SERN stakeholders and its projects. The communication task also includes coordinating the organization of promotional events and conferences both for the association as well as for the EU projects.
Manage and implement European funded projects dealing with thematic such as inter-regional cooperation, entrepreneurship and climate change. Among the other tasks, it will be required to perform desk research, communication activities, organize events and trainings.
Contribute to prepare and submit proposals under specific European Programs calls for grants or tenders (Horizon Europe, Interreg Europe, DG REGIO, Creative Europe, among others).
