About the Role
The Content and Communications Manager will play a central role in making Climate Outreach’s content and communications best in class. You will be able to write for a range of channels and audiences with a particular focus on drafting excellent digital copy to maximise the reach and impact of our work with target audiences. You will manage our website and social media accounts day to day, while helping us think about our long term social strategy and approach to raise the profile of Climate Outreach and our work. You will lead on marketing Climate Outreach’s products and services to various stakeholders, including our training workshops and Climate Visuals content.
You will work closely with our Climate Visuals Manager to seek new opportunities for promoting our innovative climate photography library. You will embed thinking about great content to our research design and work closely with our research and programmes team to think about how we promote our findings. You will be able to help us respond quickly to external events, and seek opportunities to share our research and content at key times.
Through building on your content creation skills, this role will present an opportunity to try out innovative communication ideas, using audience insights to adjust your approaches for a variety of audiences. You will be able to work with strategic comms insights and use this as a grounding for great content. You will also be able to work quickly and independently to an agreed brief and tight deadlines.
