About the Role
Equality Now is recruiting an Officer, Communications to coordinate communications across the MENA region. Reporting to the Associate Director, Advocacy Communications, the role develops and implements regional communications plans, monitors news and policy developments, tracks performance indicators, supports Arabic publications and translation workflows, and produces press releases, social media content, blog posts, case studies and email campaigns in English and Arabic. Candidates should have strong knowledge of the MENA socio-political landscape and international human rights frameworks, excellent Arabic and English communication skills, and at least five years of relevant experience in communications, journalism, public affairs or advocacy. A bachelor's degree in Communications, International Affairs or equivalent experience is preferred. The annual gross consultancy fee is USD $21,000–$24,000.
